Are you studying law and looking to gain practical experience alongside your studies? As part of Foyen’s student pool, you will have the opportunity to work extra at our offices in Stockholm, Gothenburg or Malmö — while gaining insight into the daily work at a business law firm focused on societal development.

In this role, you will work closely with our lawyers and take on a wide range of tasks, such as legal research, drafting procedural documents, proofreading and compiling evidence. You will also participate in reviewing case materials, contribute to article writing and prepare materials for client meetings. In addition, you support the firm by answering phone calls, handling simple enquiries and providing administrative assistance. Together, this gives you valuable and career-enhancing insight into how a law firm operates in practice.

Foyen offers a ten-week thesis internship at our offices in Gothenburg, Stockholm or Malmö for students preparing to write their Master’s thesis. During the internship, you will assist with legal research and ongoing matters and have contact with various courts and authorities. Naturally, we also provide supervision for your thesis work.

• The theses must clearly and analytically address a current or central issue within environmental law, public procurement or construction law.
• Only individual applicants may apply.
• The scholarship recipient is selected by Foyen Advokatfirma in consultation with a representative from one of the universities in Lund, Uppsala, Stockholm, Gothenburg, Örebro or Umeå.
• Applicants who have completed or are completing a thesis internship at Foyen Advokatfirma are not eligible to apply.
• The scholarship is awarded annually, and the application deadline is 20 June. All applications are treated confidentially.
