During the spring of 2020, Stena Renewable will begin construction on a wind power farm in Åby-Alebo in the municipality of Mönsterås which, with 36 wind turbine generators, will thereby become the largest wind farm in southern Sweden. Through its location, the wind farm will provide an important contribution of electricity production in an area which currently has a deficit. The wind farm is estimated to be completed and capable of supplying electricity in 2022.

In total, Stena Renewable is investing SEK 1.7 billion in the project. The wind turbine generator will be delivered by Vestas, with a total height of 200 meters and a total output of 155 Mw.

Foyen Advokatfirma assisted Stena Renewable in the negotiations of the turbine supply and installation agreement and the services agreement through partner Jacob Hamilton and senior associate Johanna Hellström.
