Foyen assists JSB with a 10-year framework agreement with Rikshem

Building contractor JSB has signed a framework agreement with Rikshem, one of Sweden’s largest property companies, for the purpose of building thousands of sustainable homes around the country up to and including 2029. The agreement relates to the construction of standard multi-family homes and is based on collaboration with, among other things, ongoing joint development work with the aim of finding better means of efficiency and synergies in the construction process.

The first projects to be ordered are located in Umeå, Sigtuna, Södertälje and Malmö.

Foyen has assisted JSB in signing the framework agreement through partner Richard Sahlberg and associate Sara Öwall.

As a consequence of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, contractors involved in ongoing projects may be able, where appropriate, to request an extension of time for the contract period as well as modification of the agreed price for the works in order to take into account changes in costs. Both the construction client and the contractor need to inform themselves of how the war might affect ongoing and future construction projects to which AB 04 and ABT 06 apply.
